Linn County and the City of Center Point are conducting a planning process for developing a fringe area agreement for the two jurisdictions. The fringe area is the area extending two miles outside of an incorporated city. Fringe area plans and agreements facilitate the orderly development of cities, protect sensitive areas, and streamline the development process.
This page will host the meeting materials for the public input open house and an online version of the public input form. When the plan and agreement are drafted, they will be shared here prior to public hearings, which will be held by both Linn County and Center Point prior to adoption. The dates of the hearings will be shared on this page as well.
