Planning and Zoning Commission Recommend Adoption

On Monday, November 17, 2025, the planning and zoning commissions of Linn County and Center Point met to consider the draft fringe area plan and agreement. After review of the plan and agreement, both commissions recommended adoption. The City Council of Center Point will review the plan and agreement and may take action on November 25, 2025. The Board of Supervisors of Linn County will discuss the plan on December 8, 2025, and, if placed on the consent agenda, approve the plan and agreement on December 10, 2025.
