The City of Walker has partnered with ECICOG to update the City's comprehensive plan. The City and ECICOG will conduct outreach in the community to develop a vision for the community over the next ten years. City residents and business owners will have several opportunities to weigh in to help define the vision. The updated plan will provide guidance to City leaders for growth and development that is consistent with the community's vision.

The planning process is estimated to take approximately 12 months. Community members will find project updates and ways to be engaged, including event information input activities, at this site. Community input is critical to ensuring the plan reflects the priorities of residents. We would love to hear from you!

  • Community Survey

    The City of Walker is updating its comprehensive plan to guide its growth and development over the next 10 years. This survey is designed to ensure the plan reflects residents’ vision for the future. More information about the planning process is shared in the Q & A on the project web page. Please complete the survey by October 31, 2025. You can also print the survey from the PDF on the project home page and return it to City Hall by the survey close date. Print copies will also be available at City Hall. Each resident of a Walker household is welcome to respond separately, but please provide only one response per person. Your answers will be kept anonymous.
